Join us for an informational seminar on Wednesday, May 20th at 10 am at our Rock Island office. Officer Spencer Brooks from the RIPD will be here to discuss common scams and provide tips on how to safeguard yourself and your loved ones from today’s scams. A light breakfast and beverages will be provided, plus all attendees will receive some GECU merch! There is limited seating, so you must RSVP to the credit union by May 18th to secure your spot.

Please note that the Credit Union will be closed on Saturday, May 23rd and Monday, May 25th for Memorial Day weekend.

Join us for our Annual Ice Cream Social on Friday, June 5th, at our main office in Rock Island! We will be serving up ice cream with your choice of toppings between 11 am and 3 pm. We will have a tent set up in the parking lot, so you can take one to go, or hang out a bit and be social. Either way, we hope to see you then!

April is Youth Month at the Credit Union! It’s a month we always try to make special for kids, and this year is no exception. Stop by the Credit Union in April and kids can take a spin on our Wheel of Fortune. Each time they save, they have a chance to win!

We are proud to announce that we have just paid back $250,000 to our members! This dividend was equally distributed to our borrowers and savers- $125,000 as a consumer loan interest rebate and $125,000 as a bonus dividend. Since 2014, we have paid nearly $1.5 million in bonus dividends back to our members! We believe that when we succeed, our member-owners should be rewarded. It’s just another way GECU stands out and once again proves that it genuinely pays to be a member

We had 225 members attend the 90th Annual Meeting on March 7, 2026. If you received a paper statement, the documents were included in the same envelope.
