  • What is the cost? It's free.
  • Is it safe? Yes. A secure server is used to protect your information. You will be given a password to login for the first time, and then you will need to change your password. We also have a two-factor authentication process that will require you to select challenge questions and choose a secret word and confirm your email address.
  • Is my information accessible to hackers? No. The HomeCU interface is NOT an extension of the Credit Union's core system. Information is uploaded three times daily as a file and is not linked to the Credit Union server.
  • What if I forget my password or challenge responses? Not a problem. Just give us a call.
  • Will my balance reflect recent activity? The HomeCU website is updated three times daily, at which time you can see what activity has occurred in your account. It is not real time information, so there may be some slight variation within a given time frame.

HOMECU e-statements

Tired of fumbling and filing away your paper statement each month? Enjoy the convenience and security of receiving your statement the fast and easy way- electronically with E-Statements! E-Statements are essentially an electronic version of your paper statement that you receive through your HomeCU Online Banking account. E-Statements are retrievable by simply clicking on the E-Statement link on your account screen and are stored for 2 years- easily accessible whenever you need it. Other benefit include:

  • It's easy. Signing up only takes a minute.
  • It's convenient. Never misplace your statement again.
  • It's safe. All information is available only via a secured server.

  • How do I sign up? It's a snap! First, you have to be signed up for HomeCU Online Banking. CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR BOTH HOMECU AND E-STATEMENTS. If you already access your account through HomeCU, simply click on the E-Statement link on the menu bar on the left hand side of your account screen once you login OR your may CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR E-STATEMENTS.
  • Do I need any special software? You need to have Adobe Acrobat to view the statement since it will be in a PDF format. It is FREE and only takes a moment to download. CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD ADOBE.
  • How will I know when my E-Statement is available? You will receive an email notification.
  • Can I still get a paper statement too? There's no need! All of your statement information will now be available to you with the click of a mouse. If you sign up for E-Statements and decide you prefer a paper statement again, we can always make that change.
  • Will I still receive the SavMor? Yes. You will receive an electronic version with your E-Statement, and also one by standard mail.

HOMECU online bill pay

Pay all of your bills with the click of a mouse! Forget about stamps, envelopes and writing checks- pay your bills the easy way- with HomeCU Online Bill Pay. Available through HomeCU Online Banking, Online Bill Pay now allows you to keep all of your financial information in one convenient website. To pay a bill, you simply need to fill out the payee's information, date you would like the money taken out of your checking account, and the payment amount. We'll do the rest! Best of all- it's FREE!

To sign up for HomeCU Bill Pay, simply click on the Bill Pay link on the menu on the left hand side of your account screen after you log in to your account.

Frequently Asked Questions:

  • How far in advance do I need to set up my payment? A safe rule of thumb is to schedule the debit date at least 5 or more business days in advance. For all initial payments, please schedule 10 days in advance.
  • Is Online Bill Pay secure? Yes. Internet browsers equipped with the proper SSL (secured socket layer) encryption will communicate transactional information in a secure & encrypted session. You Online Credit Union requires 128 bit SSL encryption. Simply check the help section on your browser's toolbar &  look under "About Microsoft Explorer" or "About Netscape Navigator" to see the browser version & encryption level.
  • What is the cutoff time for entering payments? 5 am Eastern Time. The cutoff time is important only if attempting to schedule a payment right at the minimum number of days recommended. For example, if a payment is due the following Friday, you will want to set the scheduled payment date as the previous Friday and that payment request must be submitted BEFORE 5 am on that previous Friday in order to assure the payment will be processed and arrive near or on the payment due date.
  • What do payees actually receive? If payment is made by check, the payee will receive a paper check bearing the following information: payee name, payment amount, your account number and name, check number. If the payment is electronic, the the payment is sent via ACH (Automated Clearing House) to the payee's bank with all of the pertinent information to credit your account with the payee.
